Sometimes the problem isn't procrastination. It's crossing the boredom threshold on a piece of work because you were too slow on it. You've seen the material so much you're bored, uninspired, and stuck. But you refuse to switch over to doing something else because you want to 'just get it done and over with'. It's like maintaining lane discipline even where a chain collision's occurred between six massive trucks transporting mass-produced cars just like the one you're driving. In your lane. And you're so out of it you see the collision but don't register it, instead you feebly bleat the horn waiting for the legendary helicopter
