Couldn't be gladder for Japan, it was seriously fantastic - perfect way to start the year. There're the scores and scores of pictures that're swamping facebook right now, but they don't convey very much. Especially because most of us are really amateurish photographers.

There were the incredible coincidences, there were the new friendships and renewal of old ones, there were things that happened you'd never forget. Learnt so much about being comfortable, about being myself, about keeping others in mind and yourself in check.

I've a new love for long bus rides - they're precious rare opportunities to sit someone down and really just talk talk talk. And there's nothing like deep and broad conversations for soul/mind fodder.

And I think I'm becoming an increasingly seasoned traveler, didn't lose anything this trip yay :)

Am really all the better and none the worse for it - life's great and going to be better this whole entire year no matter what shiz comes my way :) I feel it in my bones
