I owe this blog and whatever readers I have left a slightly more substantial update on my life, rather than wispy pseudo-philosophical musings which only hint at how free I've been.

So this week has passed generally without event, and I'm on the first 2 hours of internship week at MOE. Hopefully that proves interesting, with a fair amount of free time (which is super valuable because having a workstation [getting hopeful] and being in work-wear usually means work-mood).

THIMUN Singapore has been going on, as have various other internships and programmes. Been running around on errands, showing up in school a bit too much and having had a few good nights out - one with old-ish friend and one with class. And a few lunches with the odd couple. I probably haven't quite left the MUN scene yet, still have that yearning for bloodsport. It really does bring out the worst in people lol. In the cab to BBB I bragged somewhat about MUN exploits. Old habits die hard, much as I try to move past.

Amidst this I've managed to find time for something personally meaningful, though that isn't complete yet. Need to finish the last part by doing my first unsupervised ATM transaction. Can see myself taking ten more than I should, just to pamper myself.

And dayum I procrastinated a tad too much on a couple of proposals, which I eventually managed to complete in a matter of 2 hours. I find many trends of my classic working style lol. Going too far on details and preempting stuff, while casually overlooking the stated deadline. I might have sowed the seeds for some trouble here.

Spent the day rotting at a Camp RE:ACT group reunion. A very lazy and slow-paced day, very much my thing hahaha. Had a lot, a lot of fun, which probably bears testament the extent to which people don't explicitly show they have fun.

Finished a book in a single sitting, for the first time in months. Not a book that was on my reading list, very tellingly.

Major things stuck fast on my December schedule're GC, WYSC, a new round of MOCH, Council Worksessions, and hopefully some quality friends+family time nearing Christmas. Busy days ahead. Particularly looking forward to New Year Resolutions. Even if half of them are broken in the first two months I think they'll serve me very very very well haha

The tone of this post's so mellow and grown-up I think that's exactly what has happened. Maybe its the time, maybe its the book that I've just finished.
