And so yesterday I went for my extremely overdue OCIP Vietnam jabs at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Was dreading it actually (don't lie, the prospect of having needles inside you lends itself more to paranoid conjecturing about worst-case scenarios, not natural calmness of mind)

It was pretty fun though, fun enough that I want to blog about it haha.

Nurse: Are you a lefty or righty?
Me: Righty, but was born lefty
Nurse: So you were forced to convert from being a lefty
Me: Yup, by my mum and her chopper
Nurse: I'm going to tell your mother. Why were you reading a communist book? Trying to become leftist issit. Don't think I never see, when you were keeping the form it was dead obvious.

Me: You look very happy.
Nurse: Ya, I love poking people with sharp things.

Me: Is the needle technology good. Like, is it some super thick and painful needle
Nurse: Ya, its good. But my skill's even better.
Me: Ya, rig.. (needle goes in)
Me: Wai (second needle goes in)
Nurse: *smiles*

(after the jabs)
Nurse: Okay, the painless part is over. Now go pay up.

The whole thing was over in about 5 minutes. Was 68 bucks poorer but that much more LOL. I like the strangers I meet :D
