Tonight has been one of those stonier nights. The whir of a desktop CPU which might as well be afflicted with the BSOD, with my mac playing songs i'm not even paying attention to.

Reading quotes from Goethe, reading up on Geography, reading about American politics, reading past copies of MOCH that my predecessors unarguably spent hundreds of hours on, attempting to read the color of my eyes in the mirror (and realizing that I can't stand the soap scum).

It feels good soaking in this stuff when it is of no pragmatic consequence.

Every day we should hear at least one little song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture, and, if possible, speak a few sensible words.
