chagrin of youth so perilous so deluded
ruinous, of ego so fragile so shatterprone
yesteryear be bygone, memories be unwoken
steadfast be virtues, pure be thought
tornadic love born of contrived pressure
apparitions of adoration left safe and sound
latently building, festering, uncontrollably simmering

(5th June 2011: I don't believe I'll ever write like this again. It's definitely awful, but it's kind of sobering that I won't have these coming-of-age expressions anymore)
