Well, I post here when I've absolutely no one else to talk to about stuff :P

And also when this stuff is way too person-specific/personal to actually make decent conversation fodder with anyone at all.

It just strikes me how being home for half a day has really taken me out of the daily cycle of grouses and arguments. Apparently things around home have been growing really, really volatile. Mum and dad argue twice weekly, though they patch up much more easily now. My sister's uber-busy for her age, good for her.

Both mum and dad are going through midlife crises I guess. Dad's really intelligent but's talent that really never bore fruit. Have zero doubt that he's genuinely capable of at least a senior managerial position, given how he's wizard with managing his friends and stuff. But he's just resigned to his lot in life I guess.

(5th June 2011: and why couldn't this make decent conversation fodder with anyone at all? geez.)
