Not really in the mood to do anything else, so yeah.

Well, we won. No pictures (because we didn't take any), no fanfare (because we didn't want any), no nothing. It was a dirty win, but a win nonetheless. 2-1 is common most days, but it was pretty dang close.

I won't lie and say that it wasn't satisfying, because it was. We haven't beaten this team since almost 2 years back, and there were plenty of excrutiatingly close losses in between. The first debate of their career, the last debate of their career, possibly the moments which mattered the most.

But at the same time its hard not to feel sorry for them; they looked super forlorn. Its one thing to get completely owned and perish in the knowledge that you couldn't have done anything; its the close debates where anything could've swung it this or that way.

It's also with that that I realise how accustomed we've become to losing at every, any juncture. It's become almost second nature, really.

Ohwell. On to happier, slightly less reflective things. (ohgodididn'tmakeanysenseoutofwhatijusttyped)

Managed to make a weird-ish ice-cream hand-blend. Really quite simple, its just vanilla ice-cream plus milo powder. Whip it until its smooth with a teaspoon and a normal spoon. Comes out better than most things I've had, yes. Caramelize it slightly and it'll be totally outofthisworld. Makes me wonder if I should go get Michelin stars instead :D Further experimentation in the kitchen's in order, haha

Need to break down my work into manageable chunks. Some divine voice told me this would happen, but god knows. Most of the work I have is astonishingly huge and vague in nature, which makes it utterly repulsive and consequently damn lousy to start on.

1) Piece for Project (put it off about 1 week under the pretext "inspiration's needed for creative works.
2) Council work (as always, scattered, random, difficult to follow up with)
3) History (gawdd even though its the most specific of the lot its just plain awful to get started on)
4) Geography Collage (okay, this's manageable, but the task's utterly ridiculous.)
5) Emcee script for smops
6) OBS forms
7) Other things I'll get around to doing :)

I shall pluck myself from further dilatoriness and get to work. (if you're wondering, yes this was the first line i typed :P)

slice of life yes, boring yes, but you still plowed through it, no?
