Today I earned about 260 dollars in Kinokiniya book vouchers.

200 from the bookprize thingy, 60 from 2 subject awards.

Recognition summat for the stuff I did last year, but at the same time I'm not too comfortable with it. Not that I'm not happy to get the awards, since my family's obviously jubilant (especially my sis, with a full 130 to splurge on her comics(and yes omg she reads comics.)). Just that its a bit hollow.

Not because of the mode of renumeration (I mean, i'd totally prefer trophies and stuff to fill up that third shelf, but) its not the key thing here. (damn, don't I like parentheses)

Am however proud of all the iCouncillors who did themselves proud (i mean, its totally disproportionate, yo :D)
Glendon, Tietho, Chernyuen, Zhixian, Bernard, Samuel, etc. (I probably missed a few out)
And the debaters
Max, Shawn, Woonwei, Glendon(pesky bugger), Kahhow (GOH usher), Yichen (Chinese emcee)

And all those who should have but didn't.

On a sidenote, I've no idea when I decided, but while still very mixed about it, I think I'll give up. I wonder where it goes from here.

(5th June 2011: the important part here is actually the last line. and this was probably back when viewership was very much still ispark-centric. could have leeway with being a bit of an arrogant prick lol)
