Yeah right. Just like me to ignore every single important thing that has cropped up and do something of minimal consequence. Perhaps my next update will be more constructive.
If your life were a movie, what soundtrack would it have?

So, here’s how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player etc)
2. Put it on shuffle and press play.
3. For every question, type the song that’s playing (I skipped all the Japanese songs as you readers wouldn’t understand the translations anyway)
4. When you go to a new question, press the next button.

01 - OPENING CREDITS: You Get Me- Michelle Branch

So I'm a little left of center
I'm a little out of tune
Some say I'm paranormal
So I just bend their spoon
Who wants to be ordinary
In a crazy, mixed-up world
I don't care what they're sayin'
As long as I'm your girl

Oh god, I'm like Mr. Eccentric, no?

02 - WAKING UP: Little Wonders - Rob Thomas

"our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours still remain"

Yeah, I've to realise that. And tone down, and stick to what should matter to any typical teenager. The little wonders, in essence, of life. Stuff like idling, movies, games. Its a really nice song.

03 - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous - Good Charlotte

"only see it on tv
read it in the magazines
celebrities that want sympathy

all they do is piss and moan
inside the rolling stone
talking about how hard life can be

Id like to see them spend the week
livin life out on the street
I dont think they would survive

but they could spend a day or two
walking in someone elses shoes
I think they'd stumble and they'd fall
they would fall
Fall "

Well well, sheltered white horses in Hwachong? No idea man, but self-deprecating remarks are thrown around all the time...?

04 - FALLING IN LOVE: With Love - Hilary Duff

"Baby, you can be tough
Say enough is enough
You could even be blunt
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Tell me I'm wrong
That I'm coming on way too strong
Don't think I'll be crushed
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love, love, love, love
Just do it with love."

Err. -_-?

05 - FIGHT SONG: Lose Yourself- Eminem

"Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted-One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?"

Perfect. KILL. STEAL. DESTROY.

06 - BREAKING UP: Photobooth - Death Cab for Cutie

"Constant quarreling the childish fits
and our clothes in a pile on the ottoman.
All the slander and double speak were only foolish attempts
to show you did not mean,
anything but the blatant proof was your lips touching mine in the photobooth.

And as the summers ending the cold air rush your hard heart away.
You were so condescending,
and this is all that's left
scraping paper to document.
I've packed a change of clothes and it's time to move on. "

A very soothing song. And I have no idea why the songs are matching up SO NICELY.

07 - PROM: Perfect- Fairground Attraction

"It's got to be perfect
It's got to be worth it yeah.
Too many people
take second best
But I won't take anything less
It's got to be yeah perfect."

Of course! Prom is prom, whatever prom is like, but if prom is the way I think prom is, its got to be perfect, and worth every cent of my money, yeah.

08 - LIFE: Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off - P!atd

Don't even go there. I'm the furthest from scandalous anyone could be, serious. Like, pinkypinky trusttrust serious. And I'm not pasting the lyrics here either, for good reason. Go look them up yourself, if you're that disjointed from zis kinda music...

09 - MENTAL BREAKDOWN: Kiss Me- Sixpence None the Richer

"Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight
Lead me out on the moonlit floor
Lift your open hand
Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance
Silver moon's sparkling
So kiss me"

I'm not sure if that's going to cause the mental breakdown, or act as therapy. I'm highly inclined to believe its the former...

10 - DRIVING: Because I'm a Girl - Kiss

"Although I'll say I hate you now
Though I'll shout and curse you out
I'll always have love for you
Because I am a girl"

Got the translation. And yeah, down with road rage and irresponsible motoring and the resultant hate... and what's with woman drivers. Don't they like erupt into MAJOR catfights too?

11 - FLASHBACK: Numb- Linkin' Park

"I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless lost under the surface
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
(Caught in the undertow just caught in the undertow)
Every step that I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertow just caught in the undertow)"

Sometimes, just sometimes. You wonder what everything might have turned out had I maintained a lower profile, let down more people, and been who I really was. And of course, all the deep reflection that you do on a near-daily basis takes a toll on you. You get numb to all the what-ifs at some juncture. Ohwells.

12 - WEDDING: Last Cup of Coffee - Rufus Wainwright

"I’ve got a hankering something’s gonna happen
I may be wrong, but then again I may be right
There must be a reason that I have been hanging round
For so long in this God damn café all night"

Maybe I won't have any need for stimulants after marriage? Not entirely intelligent, but the song is so drawly I can't seem to find any link between the two.

13 - BIRTH OF CHILD: Nothing Better - Postal Service

"Will someone please call a surgeon
Who can crack my ribs and repair this broken heart
That you're deserting for better company
I can't accept that it's over...
And I will block the door like a goalie tending the net
In the third quarter of a tied-game rivalry"

No idea, seriously.

14 - FINAL BATTLE: 1985- Bowling for Soup

"She was gonna be an actress
She was gonna be a star
She was gonna shake her ass
On the hood of white snake’s car
Her yellow SUV is now the enemy
Looks at her average life
And nothing has been alright since"

Quite obviously, she lost. And I'm not female, so I didn't lose, so I won. And so, by convoluted logic, mewins?

15 - DEATH SCENE: Single - Natasha Beddingfield

"I'm not waitin' around for a man to save me
(Cos I'm happy where I am)
Don't depend on a guy to validate me
(No no)
I don't need to be anyone's baby
(Is that so hard to understand?)
No I don't need another half to make me whole

Make your move if you want
doesn't mean I will or won't
I'm free to make my mind up
you either got it or you don't "

I'm going to die alone. Single. An awful omen? O_0

16 - FUNERAL SONG: Who says you can't go home - Jon Bon Jovi

"I spent 20 years trying to get out of this place
I was looking for something I couldn't replace
I was running away from the only thing I've ever known
Like a blind dog without a bone
I was a gypsy lost in the twilight zone
I hijacked a rainbow and crashed into a pot of gold
I been there, done thatand I ain't lookin' back on the seeds I've sown,
Saving dimes, spending too much time on the telephone
Who says you can't go home "

Well I suppose we all go "home". Reliving everything again, and I'd love to die at home, if I interpret the song correctly. Somewhere that I can truly call home, that is.

17 - END CREDITS: World Spins Madly On - The weepies

"Woke up and wished that I was dead
With an aching in my head
I lay motionless in bed
I thought of you and where you'd gone
and let the world spin madly on"

The world wouldn't change without me I suppose. It'd just go on. Talk about insignificance. Yeah, its like, GGNESS. Next level, next character, the end.

Ohwell, maybe tomorrow I'll blog about the major happenings next month.
Or I may just forget all about regular posting and launch yet another hiatus.
Who knows, depends on my mood, heh.

Cheers.
