I apologize for my abnormally long hiatus, but I get a really big kick from people bugging me to blog. And having started a neopets account (with 300-odd k in assets), its regular upkeep has prevented me from blogging. All these woes only multiply when you put into account my incredibly banal life, which is relatively absent of anything interesting. Indeed, the only major event of late has been Projects Day Grand Finals (and yes i have conveniently forgotten mayors.)

Thus I shall create a quiz and answer it myself :P

* Ablutophobia- Fear of washing or bathing.
* Bibliophobia- Fear of books

* Dendrophobia- Fear of trees.
* Ecophobia- Fear of home
* Gerascophobia- Fear of growing old.
* Gymnophobia- Fear of nudity.
* Ideophobia- Fear of ideas.
* Leukophobia- Fear of the color white.
* Logophobia- Fear of words.
* Nomatophobia- Fear of names.
* Paraskavedekatriaphobia- Fear of Friday the 13th.
* Phronemophobia- Fear of thinking
* Syngenesophobia- Fear of relatives

Normally his posts are worthy of such miserable fates, but because i'm feeling exceptionally nice, I shall bring this one particular post to light!

I think it'd be quite fun evaluating how much I suffer from each of these "weird" phobias, which aren't actually that weird at all, because I suffer from most of them, and as most people will tell you, I am in fact perfectly normal save for the fact that I have a predisposition towards long sentences which seem grammatical, but when taken apart are somewhat tedious and can be split into several, which would make much much more sense, but liki isn't known for sense, so yeah.

I shall rate each on a scale of 10... and substantiate it!
* Ablutophobia- Fear of washing or bathing.
- I am quite a grubby person, I used to suffer from this and put off showers. The truth was, I was afraid of my reflection in the mirror. Why so, because I had dabbled in the realm of parallel universes and was freaked out by the notion that another me could exist in the mirror. Another story though.

* Bibliophobia- Fear of books
- This is quite true to some extent. I fear all compilations of poetry, though I do adore picture books and others. Not very noticeable though.

* Chaetophobia- Fear of hair.
- I love my hair. I try best as possible not to let my mom cut it, but I fail on a monthly basis. Sigh.

* Chirophobia- Fear of hands.
- This makes absolutely no sense, unless its supposed to mean Muk poking me, or Zicong clapping in a weird-ish manner.

* Cibophobia- Fear of food
- Obviously. I'm anorexic!

* Decidophobia- Fear of making decisions.
- Frankly, I'm a rather indecisive person who rebuts himself too much in the head. I'm perenially terrified of making the wrong decision, especially when it may implicate others. I'm not sure how you'd view this, but yeah

* Dendrophobia- Fear of trees.
- Used to. Back in the fairy-tale world where any tree could be a giant monster waiting to eat me. No longer though, I'm a tree-hugger now :P

- EventhoughIliveoppositechangiprisoninoneofthemostuludistrictsinSingapore, I nonetheless still love my home for all its quirks and nonsensicalities.

- Seriously, who doesn't. Neverland ftw!

- Uh. I'm a beeg prude, but its not exactly a fear rather than embarrassment.

- Definitely. Especially existentialist questions, creationism, spirituality, afterlife, the like. I've spent many sleepless nights pondering these, often slipping into fitful nightmares, yawn.

* Leukophobia- Fear of the color white.
- Ahahahaha. No, obviously. I think white is a very nice color, especially when contrasted with Khaki Brown. Uniforms ftw!

* Logophobia- Fear of words.
- Ahem. I play scrabble, I read Making the Alphabet Dance (which I highly recommend to everyone, not just the lexicologic freaks of nature), etc. I do however fear misspellings, forgetting anagrams (in the midst of a match), etc. Love-hate relationship.

- I've never been good with names. But I don't exactly fear them.

- I tend to be luckier on these days, weird me.

- Duh, I'm a lazy bum and my thoughts always sidetrack into those that really give me headaches. Thinking here's deep thinking, not the kind of dumb brainstorms that primary school teachers gave :)

- Yeh, especially when they fuss over your height and weight and everything about you. But they're generally a nice bunch, although sometimes you feel sad you're so distant
