I know an emotional rant about our loss at Mayors is long overdue.

But because I've put it off so long I don't really remember much about it anymore.

Just suffice to say that it was a whirlwind of a cruel loss.

Mainly because I thought we should have won.

Quoting a junior I find has a tendency to articulate feelings in a stoically effective manner, "Naturally as a member of the HC Debate Club, I felt we should have won"

It doesn't serve as much consolation that the trophies for both champs and runners-up look EXACTLY the same, nor that our Runners-Up trophy is still Gold in color and Sizeable.

I guess our only reassurance is that the trophy won't stay theirs for long now :P. Its a matter of time, be it years or decades.
