X: Liki, have you done your math assignment?
Liki : huh?
X: The one Mdm Wong gave us
Liki : Oh, that one
X: So?
Liki : Which one?
X: AS 4
Liki : Ohyeah, what about it?
X: Do you know how to do question 1a?
Liki: Huh?
X: I mean, (spells out question)
Liki: Let me find my assignment
X: I give up.

Note the catalyst here. My inability to find my assignment. In the event that X is patient enough to wait...

Liki: Oh here it is. Which question again?
X: 1a
Liki: Oh, what's so hard about it?
X: Nothing, just that i can't do it
Liki: Ah i see, now, would you like a detailed explanation or just a rough gist?
X: Detailed explanation please
Liki: *Rambles on*
X: I don't get it
Liki: Oh yes you do
X: Oh yes I do

At which point the question comes to a happy resolution. It's fairly laborious considering that I'll probably deliberate and hesitate (not for a lack of quick thinking) over other conversations, a game of scrabble, then walk to the kitchen for a snack, then come back, before uttering a monosyllabic answer.

Not that worth it for a answer which isn't always correct given that I'm not particular over the accuracy of my work. Thus, the smart X.

X: Eh liki, let me copy tmr okay
Liki: Sure, if you can find it in my bag
X: ...
X: Can you find it for me
Liki: It'll be in my blue file

And that's really smart, because it both saves time on X's part and my part.

Of course, all the above only apply if I've done my homework, which makes much of it irrelevant except if its overdue work, 'cos my homework's largely done after 12md.

So now, after that imbecilic rambling, the bottom line is:

If you're so lowdown as to ask already, no harm simply copying :)
