That was an extremely long blogging hiatus, whether declared or not, heh.
In any case, I'm back. At this very point my intention is to blog a really really long post, but it never comes to fruition, so yeah.

Because of the immense backlog of things I have to blog, I'll simply have to zip all over the place and purposefully omit some things that are easily available on others' blogs. Its inevitable, not because i'm lazy, ahaha.

In any case, I'm blogging on my newly acquired notebook, which is mist-grey, the only colour they had. Its economical to say the least, though it DOESN'T have that shockproof harddisk that I wanted. So I can't illtreat my laptop, except for spilling water all over the spill-resistant keyboard.

Assembled it last night.

CCA: Laptops need assembling meh
CCA: So glad I'm not talking to a comp idiot

But alas, I'm NOT a comp idiot. I've the proud record of maintaining my internet connection and computer alone for the past 7 years. Its just that I didn't have a laptop to work with, that's all! In any case, I totally love typing on this keyboard because it allows for such fast typing.

Compare it to my freaking desktop dell keyboard, which happens to have Calamol lotion spilt all over the spacebar, a malfunctioning keypad, etc. etc. And that has a dismal type rate because the "h" tends to get stuck.

I'm glad I have a laptop now.

Anyway, I got it at SITEX '06. Last unit in stock. It comes with a cute optical mouse and a cuter thumbdrive. THOUGH I SHOULD HAVE BLATANTLY ASKED FOR THAT FREAKING WEBCAM. Though I don't see a need for it, freebies are always good =)

Ah yes, SITEX. I shall delve into a minor interlude here about SITEX because firstly I happen to have a heapload of time, and I love typing on this keyboard.

SITEX was confusing to say the least. It was the last day of the exhibition and people were having a last minute scramble for their peripherals and stuff. It was pure evil because I was popping everywhere and wasting the saliva of the salespeople before leaving with the oh-ever-so-useful "We'll be back later".

And I was feeling very knowledgeable explaining the difference between a flashdrive and a thumbdrive and MP3s and MP4s and how "Made in Japan" is a hell sham, in addition to unsuccessfully coercing my mom to get me stuff.

There was this supercheap pulse MP3 thingy going for like 29 dollars. I'll save up for SITEX '07 I suppose.

There were those franchise'esque stalls all around, and food litter was like everywhere. Ah heck, the food was good.

I signed up for the iCell thing, which makes me one of the first 100 000 to sign up! Can't wait for wireless surf to spread across SG.

The projected launch date coincides with the end of my subscription, so I'll just have to use the island wide thing INSTEAD of the stupid PacNet connection, which happens to be a total ripoff, despite their being first in Asia or whatnot.

BUT. I've a naggy feeling iCell is just some stupid stupid thing to track all downloads and internet stuff so they can BYPASS the companies in checking illegal downloads. Then the heavy downloaders will DIE. Which is totally horrible of course, but Piracy Kills Creativity so we'll get better music or something.

LIKE TOTALLY POOH TO YOU.

The lengths they go to counter something uncounterable.

Alright, going in backwards chrononlogical order, Saturday

VJC invites. T_T

ANYWAY, we ph41l3d to get past the qualifiers. Which means, we didn't break. Which means, we're out of the competition!

I shan't whine about the specifics because that would totally reduce the number of people I can whine to on MSN by the number that reads my blog. For indepth details on how badly we phlunked, just add me on MSN and I'll give you a complimentary 10 minutes whining package, yeah.

At least we didn't lose the prepared round.

SPARE ME THE BONDAGE.

And um, right, to revive my blog and increase taggership, and the third part of today's moderately long trilogy post is this!

Everybody knows Advance Wars right?
Its heresy if you don't, the link's HERE
Every tagger gets his UNIQUE CO power and Super CO power, customized!

Yeah, so here's the resurrecting post, and I'm horribly bored.
Bleh.
