It most certainly is not my dearest wish to see this blog drip back into angstiness but after what happened today....

Basically I was half lying about all my previous debate performances. I'm telling you, this time its real. But before that.

The only good news all day, double A1s for Chinese, which I hope can guarantee my exemption, though I'm not too hopeful...

Next, 8/10 for my History mock test, which I'm telling you is essentially crap.
*This part has been censored after listening to a debate on "THW ban students from blogging about teachers" Was just reminded of the legal implications, etc.etc. and in the name of decency and the imminent blog check have eradicated this erstwhile portion of the blog.*
Every single doomsday prediction I throw at "class policies" comes true. More or less its due to common sense. And its not that they're "eventual", they come after something like 2 days, which is WOW. Darn long.

Next, apart from that which coupled with my Geography will rob me of my A1 for IH, on to English. I am hereby unable to do Wiesel because my voice tends to go into emotional screeches when reciting the emotive parts, especially from memory.

Debate after that was screwy, headaches were striking by this time. Confessing here, my rebuttal technique is shaky, I scattergun without knowing, etcetera, etcetera. The first debate prep went to bits and my speech went to bits too because I was writing Ephraim's substantive throughout the entire 1st speaker speech. I screwed up completely. As usual I didn't tier my rebuttals at ALL and thus they were all over the place. One thing hit and that was the clarification, the 3 rebuttals just went to pieces over and over. Near the end I was just rambling on...

Got shifted to second due to my unsatisfactory performance, you know its bad when you get told in the face you suck. I used the one anticipated rebuttal I did, and it was pretty okay, but the other screwed. The substantive was totally out of point, it was irrelevant and clashed aplenty.

The point is Kee En did a fantastic job and near revived us, I didn't POI in the last speech, at least not enough.

Has made me reconsider my priorities in life, maybe I should quit gaming or something and concentrate my energies. I'll be abstaining from all games until Saturday. Hope I'll improve or something, it is seriously needed.

And yes, it was so bad I went silent and shut up for once. People rarely slip twice in a row, even if they do slip.

Heck, I'll try to redeem myself on Saturday, that is if I get a chance at it.

SLC Portfolio, History Test on Wed, NCC on Fri, Mayors on Wed, Debate on Saturday.

Which reminds me, I haven't touched my uniform for goddamn dunno how long.

Off to do some homework and self-reflection.

I hope I'm not down with a fever or something.
