Today was civil defence... just went 4 ncc badge =P.

DEAD BORING.

8 hours of useless repetition. =(
But now I've got an NCC badge. MY FIRST ONE EVER.
So thats pretty cool.

zzz so boring I don't remember anything.

ANYWAY. Had dinner at this oligopoly-istic place.

REALLY GOOD WANTON MEE.

But there're two stalls.

Kind of a duopoly, weirdest thing is that they are next to each other.

I think they are like kind of connected to each other. I mean, here are the arguments for their linkage.

1. A new business would never ever dream of challenging a 30 year bigshot on its own territory.
2. Their fried wanton taste the same... at least to my tastebuds (i'm nursing flu and all, oh well..)
3. Their prices are the same. (probably due to some cartel or the market forces of supply and demand, but..)
4. The shopowners kinda look the same, as in motherfather sondaughter family?
5. They specialise in different things. But they're both plastered with culinary certificates

And also, two separate stores are much better than one.

For 4 reasons
1. People will feel compelled to try which is better.
2. If the queue is too long for one then customers go to the other.
3*. 2 stores do more to snatch from other stalls. (more surface area for more absorption theory)
4. Two stores together attract attention. From the media and all, ahaha.

*Elaboration: I mean, a walmart the size of Singapore is hardly going to make an impact in America, because people are going to travel hundreds of miles to shop?

And many many more.

Let me comment on my scrabble endgames...
I once played them flawlessly.

Like totally flawlessly.

That gave me my rating.

Now its slipping.

I missed the one place the opponent could go out... AG 3 points.

And i played ID elsewhere for 3. OH GOD HOW DAFT CAN I GET.

The fact that I only had a timeframe of 10-20 seconds to scan the board. THATS NO EXCUSE.

I must improve my scrabble game!

Particularly when the ACSI disciples of mine are coming on so strong. They're pawning me already! GOD.

=(
Please, someone start playing scrabble.

Under a facade/mask of 2 stores the storeowners actually profit more
