Well its a new month. 4 months of HCI life has passed, but thats beside the point. Okay, because I lack ORGANISATION... I will have to implement LABELS everywhere. xD Cool.

Its a 200kb drop from last month, demonstrates how busy I've been. Or rather because I lost an entire Friday. 28/4/06.

Next, debate. A little backdrop.

So I turned up anyway. KAP. Cheng Aik was 20 min earlier than me.

Bought something to eat, Cheng Aik who had sworn not to buy anything still BOUGHT SOMETHING. A burger to chomp on. Been a long time since I last ate Macdonald's.

Then we proceeded to RONALDTSUI'S HOUSE. First impression, WA SO NEAT ARH. Anyway we had a long drawling lecture then a long drawling debate. I was timer. Tralala. I had a lot of fun pointing out exceeding times so Lucas could niao.

Then PITZA. Canadian is better than Pizza Hut. Trust me.

Content debrief which was actually FUN.

Coach was astounded at my word knowledge. Heck, with people like Jerome and Muk around, coupled with my inborn affinity with words...

Try saying this as a corny opening.

They may be the cunning linguists but we're the master debaters.

Hint: Try saying this out REAL fast. And think sick.

Anyway, reenactment of Coach and MGS coach. (oh yes there's something FISHY between the two. Connected in too many ways.... REALLY MAN WE AREN'T BLIND.)

Coach: Hmm what are you doing for debates?
MGSC: Well there's no competition for MGS until August.
Coach: Really? How about Y14s?
MGSC: R we even in?
Coach: Oh yes! They drew HCI for the prelims!
MGSC: So? They're pushovers. Anyway who are you coaching?
Coach: UHHH HCI DU-UH.
MGSC: (oh shit.)

Which means... we're gonna pwn them. PAWNAGE. Whee

Anyway Coach says I'm ruddy insensitive and TOO PRAGMATIC. Well....

Ah yes my handwriting.
I was randomly flippin' through my P4 stuff, then I realised my handwriting. It was... TOTALLY neat. I can't remember ever writing like that. It looked somewhat typewriter. Everything was perfectly legible. The ink was meticulously pressed, lucid and clear.

Curious, I then looked through my P5 stuff. Even better handwriting. The evolution into cursiveness. Tilted slightly, as most of my words are. LOOKED TOTALLY SPLENDID. Some ink fades.

P6 my handwriting's quality began to decline. Because I bought the G2 pen from pilot. Nonsmudge but very easily imprinted. So I began scrawling. Near the end I was writing in MINUTE FONT. Miniscule, I had to squint to see it. Even so it looked bad. Real bad.

Fast forward to this year. More tilted than ever, something like P5, but similar to P6 in quality. The quality varies, notes are illegible, assignments barely legible. At least they can be read....

Hmm handwriting shouldn't be much of an interest to me really. I don't have enough TIME. But strangely. Sigh the past "me"s will never ever come to life again, but looking at the handwriting, the downwards slide, shows how much haste I have developed in the past few years. Scrawling and scribbling. Scribblin and Scrawling.

I prefer doing my assignments on the computer nowadays, so a complete analysis, unfortunately, might never ever materialise. I do love my handwriting. Its... something I can be proud of. Its unique. I shortchange those hateful esses and arrs and I rarely close my ays so they look like yous.

Sigh they do instill some nostalgia in me, those pieces do. Not the content, the handwriting. To hell with the content for now...
