Haha there's been a lot of good news today. Thus the mood for this will be rather light! For those despondents who need some cheering, here it is! For despondents beyond the point of return, switch off your browser and go toss ur wretched bodies down the Empire State Building! Haha!
A brief coverage of the day. Ridden with good news!! Even though I know half the class would kill me for this...
Today's timetable was warped and thus there was no history! (good news...) Smirking now, I wonder his reason? (yodaspecific, i try to be.) Proper it sounds. With you the force will be. Diaox...
The first period was free and easy, so we were set the inhumane task of ridding the world of yet another RGS compre. Wastes paper, yet is unavoidable as the scourge of RG marches on, only HCI has the prowess to render them powerless and ground to dust! Greg's ain't gonna be too happy...
Anyway next was science. Its an overload I tell you. We had groupwork, which I didn't really take part actively in. I just wrote some stupid stuff, like the disclaimer on misinterpretation and drawing some squiggly lines. And the magnifying glass was my idea of course. Chomz was a real treasure. He did almost everything...
Recess was frenetic. I chiong-ed to poolside to eat something. Apparently I broke my personal promise. Must remember it... should be easier these days, its gonna be hell! I came back feeling really despondent and lethargic, trying to get myself into the mood for the maths test. Heeding the warning of a certain friend who failed her bio due to overconfidence, I decided to face the tsunami headon. In a dejected mood. Everybody was "brimming" with confidence. I was practising Krisonification with Jiahan. Jiaharnn...where's your maths file? Where is it? WHEEERRE!?!?!?
Aiyo.... that particular voice is very funny. John Farnham is quite good I guess. You're the Voice. Even though its almost 20 years old. The math test was stupid. That song kept ringing in my puny skull. I took almost 15 minutes for the first few questions. Then I looked at the time, cursed under my foul breath and got going. I covered the next 7 questions in 40 minutes. I looked at the clock. And cursed again. 15 minutes for the bonus question. Was stuck at the last question because I hadn't revised the inverse pairs. In the end I simply scribbled down an answer at random.
I said "WTF" rather audibly. Not that anybody heard. It went something like this. Define an equation that is associative and non-commutative. I was stumped. I was beginning to think that Mdm Tham had set it to waste our precious time and the answer was that no such equation existed... when divine intervention came in. I contorted my face in intense concentration. Division/subtraction would probably work. But I looked around. No one had solved it. Division/Subtraction would be most obvious and that was what stuck them. I tried addition. It was a total fluke I tell you.
I tried
x*y=x+y+2
x*y=x+1+y
(then in absent-mindedness)
x*y=x+3
And I prepared to try the next one. Then it struck me. OMIGOD IT WORKS
Then I tried to simplify it.
x*y=x+0
The 0 was redundant.
x*y=x
Which is totally zai. It reminds me of rotarymyx for some reason.
x*y is not equal to y*x
x*(y*z)=(x*y)*z
Which proves my case! I didn't phrase the last part correctly. Which effectively means out of 3 marks I get maximum 2. But its still good. No one else got it! (goodnews!!) And that gives me a remote chance of beating Peter. Did he freak out?
Away from being a total irritation. English, where we went through the RGS compre. Was totally drained already, but I couldn't afford to miss this. My mouth couldn't resist twitching a smile every now and then, smirking at my earlier brilliance...
Then it was chinese. It got so boring I was sleeping halfway through. ANW BJ said Muk was cute. Totally cute. I beg to differ though.
Then we went to coro. Around 10 of us. I was the only person eating something different. It was a sea of lemon sauce with chickens swimming in them gaily. Mine was fish swimming in soup. We were pinpointing Greg's awkward eating style.
A: Liki
B: Greg
C: The rest
A: GREG THIS IS AN EATERY NOT A HiGH CLASS RESTAURANT!
C: Ya lor...
B: But... its my habit!
A: To hell with your habit! This is kopitiam must have kopitiam etiquette!!
B: -___-''
B: (tries to open hands and lean forward a little)
C: (innuendoes and such...)
B: AARGH I GIVE UP ITS SO HARD EATING LIKE YOU GUYS.
A: Lets try eating like him
So we brought our arms close to each other and began using knives to slice our rice grains into half and putting them in our mouth. Rather lame but it was good fun. Finally Gregory said, "STOP IT OK!!!!!" Fine we stopped after that.
Muk tagged along on the ride home. He's really irritating. Kept on crapping about sensitive issues... he's really very lame. I trust he isn't reading this. He seems to take me as a free ride home. And he sucks up to parents a lot. Manipulation this is called. Which means its dangerous. My mom doesn't really have a very good impression of him now. WHEE. Too bad Muk, *sniggerz*
We stopped at Bedok to get my new phone. Its really nice. Only its identical to Weicher's. Its 2.0 megapix I think. WHEE I like it a lot. My sister got my mother's old phone and she's whining. (goodnews..)
See so it was rather a good day overall for me. Hmm now I got to go rush homework. If possible i do one ACE then play GUNZ. Haha... cannot become too rusty, otherwise Muk will beat me. Terrible.
