I thought today would be hell. But it turned out to be rather okay. Flunked 2 mock tests, even with Miss Foo letting us refer to the answers.

The bulk of today's extremely short post will concentrate on Mr Quek's Animatrix. then NCC.

Animatrix... Mr Quek's new method to freak the class out.

It consists of 9 episodes, the manoeuvering video having this partially undressed member of the fairer sex that seems more fairylike than human. Okay...so the sickos were thinking sick and JH was like EWW.

Animatrix is very gory very violent very imaginative. It has a lot of symbolism... I THINK. Mr Quek could be just fabricating them. Or something. I never realised such symbols existed. So far fetched...

I wonder how they make the cartoons. Anyway the science behind the system doesn't seem plausible. It requires totally AI robots that are sentient. Where would the souls come from? Should Man be gods in their own right? It is impossible to achieve such stuff. At best I surmise a system whereby the machine continually generates options by itself, but all implanted beforehand. Truly sentient robots wouldn't obey humans, they would be too human to obey wholly. The spectre of doubt exists within even the dumbest of people. Or computers for that matter.

01 was really freaky. I mean if such a nation existed.....unimaginable. Humans are portrayed as complete idiots.

I'll get the disk from Choon Hsiong. I would like to watch EVERYTHING. Will there be a third REnaissance?

Thats digressing. Anyway Mr Quek wasn't very considerate. The video WAS interesting. But its themes of mature violence and ardent stupidity should be at least an N16. Or soemthing. Plus the near porn, maybe an M.

Poor Jiahan and I were like... anyway I won't blatantly admit my cowardice, but I actually prefer cuter animations like Nemo and Brother Bear. Sharktale no because of LKH.

He's obsessed.

Anyway thats it for Animatrix. Very sparse and skimpy I know but its 12 and I slept 4 hours last night.

I was looking forward to NCC while helping Mr Quek do the English Booth. We were shunted here and there, such is the fate of the no.1 pathetic language in HCI.
Well.... Jerome blew 5 bucks. Wrapping the thing and all... it looked really bad at the end. At least we get ACE

Mr Quek was niaoing NCC and I was trying to defend the merits of it. He seems to hate NCC a lot... aargh.

NCC today was totally... CLT Lu Jie and Jonathan came down to torture us. We had 3 hours of drill. Nonstop. The last 1hr 1/2 we did without any water breaks. Imagine.... 15 seconds to shunt between... drill corrections that lasted almost forever. But it was highly satisfying at the end. Kah How Weicher Marcus and a few others dropped out halfway claiming sickness. I wanted to do so but I stuck till the end.

Drills aren't really fun I prefer Rifle PT because I can make Jiahan feel zibei. Sigh but uniform... will work on it sunday. 4 hours to polish boots? If I can spare the time. Haha....
