Okay, so as the comment by Yee Jiunn suggested, everyone wants me to begin my posts with "okay", so okay, I'm doing that! *Rapturous applause* *Clears throat*
Today was pretty eventful as usual, just hope that Mr Quek won't see these comments. Vain hope really, but they're nothing to do with me. I won't get in trouble. So in the hope of delivering the truth, unbiased, angst and pessimistic truth, I shall brave the storms and dangers along the way, pray that I won't be ambushed by hordes of Yuxuans and Peters.
English lesson was first period. Very, very funny lesson. But Mr Quek flared up and that was scary, 5 seconds later he was smiling again... Weird... HCI teachers all this eccentric? Peter drew a Rest in Pieces gravestone of Joseph, only it was Jospeh as USUAL. Don't see why they pick on him, they're many others who are worse behaved... Yuxuan did too. And... Yuxuan wrote in his English worksheet, supposedly depicting fear... "A confident Yuxuan walked through the graveyard and scared away the smiling ghost" A straight F9 for that. Hilarious. Stitches. And while Mr Quek had his back turned Yuxuan made a certain rude gesture that involves the longest finger on your hand.... on the projector. So the whole class saw it. More stitches. Doubling over. Cliched descriptions. But never mind. Yes, so that was English.
PE next. Quoting a very true statement from Toh Jia Han, classmate, platoon mate, fellow pessimist. (I don't see why no one said my blog was angst or pessimistic. Its truly so!)
"I dread Fridays because there is PE. It's odd. In Primary School, I used to love PE, but now I dread PE. Everytime, we will do the same thing - run. Each time I run, I invariably get a cramp or some injury that renders me crippled for a week or so. This means that by the next PE lesson, I have probably just recovered ennough to run again, thus the cycle continues. This has happened for 3 weeks already."
Yes, only it has unfortunately continued for a fourth consecutive week. And the intensity has doubled. More than doubled. (We are so dead...). We ran three rounds from the clock tower down to the pavement and trekked all the way across the concrete pavement and up the hill. Still had stitches from before. I slacked most of the journey, strolling with Wei Cher, classmate, fellow platoon mate, fellow Arrogant Worms fan? Well never mind, no one seems to be who they really are. (Charlie Gordon, Flowers for Algernon) Uh huh. So the horrific 3.3km journey was fraught with dangers and anacondas and baboons and every thinkable monster. Sobz.
After that the pessimistic, boring and stereotyped chinese lesson, followed by uneventful stuff for the rest of the day.
UNTIL....
Yes, long-awaited NCC. Brilliant. I love trainings. We learnt a new drill. And kinda got praised. But we fell in 9 seconds late. So we pumped 29 times and 29 situps. Didn't do them all, my knees crumbled after the 22nd pushup and I only did 3 replacements. Situps I completed all though. Great accomplishment on my part... So it was raining and we had a talk cock session while learning a NCC cheer which was extremely entertaining.
Yes, and now back to the discussion on the long standing rivalry between the elite schools. HCI seems to be so hated, no idea why; its such a beautiful and open school with such nice food. RI has only one puny canteen, ACS passes around donation tins and none of their Sec 2 GEPS even know who Wen Jia Bao is... Crap. Yes, so what if RI has just beaten us in the Julia Gabriel Debate? Remember, we pawn in Chinese debates. Traditionally English schools are too common these days. Its the rising of the east! The sun! *Chokes with emotion* Well I'll cut the crap short because I'm boring away just about anyone

SO WHAT IF YOU BEAT US THE MEASLY ONCE OR TWICE YOU DON'T NEED TO KEEP HARPING ON IT (goes especially to weihan of RI and Gabriel and Jeremy of ACS, who are blissfully deluded of the fact that Hwachong has been track champs for as long as recorded history.)

Signing off...
A VERY PISSED and kinda angry, very pessimistic
Li Ki

PS: Anyone who has blocked me in MSN due to my incessant chattering, please unblock me... Thanks.
