Okay, so my computer had crashed, as any discerning reader would have easily known... I rarely abandon my blog for more than 26 hours. Lots of things have happened in the few days I have been isolated from this wonderful gadget known as the PC.

A healthy dose of bad news. As usual. But... there are some pieces of good news, no matter how isolated and sparse they are. Bad news first, to save the time of those who come to my blog with the sole intention of crying themselves to sleep. Test Grades. Known as of.. 23/2/06
Maths: Unknown fate
Literature: 64% (B4 after moderation... SUCKS)
Science: 75% (Just hit A1)
English: 66.66% (B3...)
Infocomm: 82% (Not too bad, left a few questions blank though)
Geography: Unknown fate
Chinese: 93.333% (Fine, so my Achilles' heel is propping up my grades?)
History: Unknown
Music (non-examinable..): 7/10 (School Song...)

Lolx. Terrible grades for English and Literature. Lets find some excuses. For English, I had written an absurd plot with a twist at the end that was twisted too much. Bleh. SOBZ. For literature, I effectively squandered 80% of the available time on the first question, leaving out most of the effective quotes and "model" phrasings though. The second question was of course... well I shall not comment. As expected, 1N, who is the "best" and "model" class for us all to follow beat us by an embarrassing margin. Are the pure GEP-ers really that terrible? I feel ashamed. Particularly of myself. I hate myself too. Yeah and I hate sarcasm as well. People that say I rock when I suck LOTS. Particularly this guy who came up to me yesterday. I shall quote our conversation, which was in the presence of my mother.

"Hi Liki"
"Hi."
"Wad your grades?"
"Embarrassing. You first?"
"Well mine sucks"
"Don't lie"
"I'm not lying, all I got was A1 for everything but Infocomm"
"Well...."
"You?"
"I suck worse."
"No, you rock"
"All A1 except for Lit and English"

Then he lets out a very, very loud hurrah and punches the air. How very mean and inconsiderate of him. Then he continued bragging about a certain guy in his class who got 56/70 for his chinese essay, which was so obviously him. Heck. I don't brag about my grades. I only complain when they suck. Obnoxious. Our class is probably more modest. 1L rocks because its the most rounded class. And we have lots of literary talent. Especially GREGORY. Contemporary Shakespeare. After John Milton passes away, that is. Flawless grammar and charming vocabulary.

So 1L, which has fallen into great disrepute over the 8 weeks of Term 1, has an uphill task to rebuild its reputation and begin pawning other classes. Undoubtedly we have the ability to, its just where we go under the stewardship of Yin Hong, our newly elected chairman. I gave him my vote because he promised CIP hours. Yeah and his policies rock. No FINES! Hmm.

Good news now. My group finally has a confirmed IRS topic. Euthanasia, entering under English Language Arts. Mini-novella. 4000 words. HOPEFULLY IT PASSES. We got to jazz it up with lots of nice deco stuff. Unthinkable to fail at preliminaries... Mr Quek seems exceptionally sadistic. He wants to kick SOME groups out to ease his life a heck lot. Sobz. Hope we not the targets.

Other good news. My essay was selected for the Commonwealth thingy. Only it is 770 words too long. Must redo it! SOBZ. No other news for the day so I shall just end here.
