Yesterday I didn't catch I not toopid 2, but today... haha I managed to catch it with my neighbours... Joel actually wanted to watch with his new "friend", though I am of the honest opinion that there is more to it. Well...good money spent to make ourselves sad. Thats the worst to it. It was very, very good and a masterpiece, even if I have like.... zilch experience when it comes to movies? The underlying message simply struck and stuck, haha... I've been reflecting and thinking a lot lately. Pragmatism...exam-culture...communication breakdown... I dunno if anybody here reading this knows Hilary Duff's Sweet Sixteen, well like every single music piece I know, comes from my neighbour... Well the Sixteen isn't really applicable, its more like THIRTEEN. Appreciating the luck I have, happy family, okay friends and all the things that make your life alive! The movie was more of a tragedy than a comedy, though the thorough analysis is worse than determining whether LKY's memoirs are a primary or secondary source...
Well Joel's mum was blowing her nose beside me throughout... quite sad really. I think she's worried that Joel will turn into a rotten apple... she nags a lot at Joel, I kind of pity him, he swears he will run away from home if this persists. I've got to knock some sense into him and perhaps lend him a road directory... haha. Well my tears inexplicably teared during the show, I don't understand that, I usually am quite in control of my emotions. Very thought stimulating it was. During the show I thought of a million things to blog... and now I've forgotten almost everything. Counting blessings is integral... well the movie reinforces Mr Quek's message that criticism and condemnation does one no good. Well I honestly think that da shi teng ma shi ai is terrible. Nothing beats flattering and sweet talk and encouragement. I don't care if I get mugged on the streets by a million teenagers around the world, but I think that words like cool, lame and whatever, are really... Well I just think that the world will be in chaos, rampant theft everywhere in 30 years. Today's teenage generation are vulgar, barbaric everything... haixxx... Very gloomy outlook and perspective. People who consistently scold and punish their subordinates or children... I don't think they have any idea of how rebellious their charges can get. Humans are humans after all, if you aren't touched by the simple movie at all, then begin to doubt your humanity. Society is simply so pragmatic, times have changed a lot. Change.... largely for the worse nowadays. Sad. Being teenage comes with its share of troubles, I'm being increasingly pessimistic.
Well yesterday I downloaded pictures that Ms Lee took in P5, everybody looked so cute then LOL. Being lame here, but I really miss the innocence and dumbness and forgiveness when we were younger... Too late now, haixxx...
