today was our first day of lessons (officially), so our timetable was like

reading period
2 english
recess
Lower sec sci
geog
maths
break
2 chinese

it was a pretty much fine day i made 2 new friends, one i call queenie. i just said queenie and den he got into such a big swearing fit dat he tio by passing teacher den when he came bec in it started all over again. the class confirm livelier now. i goign to try edit the html of my blog again haha hope it works. oh ya and during reading period the teacher used it for admin purposes, namely election of the class board. i ran for chairman and treasurer and it was like sad... i was completely routed. 13-5-4 for chairman (i was the 4) and 18-7 for treasurer. oh its a sad life. and some ppl din raise up their hands. maybe its becoz no one noes me thank heavens this is only provisional when the real ones come im gonna hold a rally. jkjk =D. at least my new frens and group voted for me, which was rather encouraging.

english was nice cos the teacher looked like mr nge again. he veri humorous and he toks singlish when giving instructions. he says its the only way ppl listen. wadeva at least he noes his abcs, which is good enuf. and he tested our vocal powers and reading and a lot of other things and the class lamer (NOT ME!!)(NICE CHANGE) did a super enthu passage reading that left everyone luffing. den we did 2 worksheets which i wrote a lot in den i sold the categories in them for 30 cents, which was ok.

the sci teacher was juz normal veri si ban like wood liddat so nvm lor. at least he noes wads the SI units. geog teacher was nobbad juz that she said she'd be especially hard on sparkies (dats my consortium, ispark)which was like. T.T. yea and she said her ACE points (additional curriculum enhancement or sum other balderdash. 15% for all subjects assessed thru student iniated projects or daily work) were either full marks or nothing. thank heavens the shock din last long. maths was nice a mdm tham thot it. her english a trifle broken but at least she noes her 123s which is comforting.

yea and the break. i got lost looking for the toilet. chinese was an interesting affair. i got first hand experience of how dismal singapore's chinese is. 1/2 of the class were stammering and stuttering, unlike me. thx to st' hilda's teachers ba! tytytyty!!!. hci de teacher veri nice dey could make our class respond to them, which was lyk a minor miracle oh well.... den i checked out the library in the afternoon for fun exploring the school. exactly as i expected. not exactly huge. 15 laptops for borrowing, arnd 20 computer stations, which was a trifle disappointing. and oh there was a comics shelf with a full catalog of asterix =D(first edition) . the top floor was full of maths stuff which was rather entertaining. the middle floor was full of fiction and reference books while the first floor was the computers and 3 dvd players with sofas and tvs. so nice. veri nice and spacey. the books i heard were selected de so all are good books. =D and they were. and the jc still has its own library. ill check dat out sometime. i gtg now bb
